Owner, General Manager
Doug has been climbing and teaching climbing for over 30 years. He has climbed dozens of 5.13 and hundreds of 5.12 climbs. In the early 90s he established over 50 first assents at the New River Gorge and discovered and spearheaded the development of the climbing at Summersville Lake. Although he is known as a sport climber he has actually spent far more days placing gear than clipping bolts. Doug was a founding and managing partner in Sportrock Climbing Centers in the Washington DC area. In 1997 he sold his share of that company and moved with his wife Page to Charlotte. They opened Inner Peaks the next year.
Page has worked in the climbing gym industry for the past 15 years as a route setter, instructor and gym manager. Her personal climbing has focused on sport and competition, with accomplishments including 5.12 on-sights and a top-30 national competitive ranking.
Director of Business Operations & Administration
T has been with Inner Peaks since the climbing gym opened in 1998, working in just about all capacities including, but not limited to: managerial, youth and adult instruction, member services, and route setting. In addition, T has over 15 years’ experience in human services volunteerism, including Guardian ad Litem and Sexual Assault Resource Companion. Her experience as a recreational climber, both indoors and outdoors, has provided her with the knowledge to help customers and climbers in meeting their goals. As the Director of Business Operations & Administration, she is also the go-to person for all things Inner Peaks.

Cory has always had a passion for climbing and the outdoors. He spent 10 years living and traveling throughout Asia and Africa, but has returned to Charlotte to be near his family. He has climbed indoors and out for over 15 years. He previously worked with Inner Peaks and he has returned to help us grow our business.

Jess was born and raised in Amsterdam, New York. She enjoyed spending her spare time in the Adirondacks, camping and boating on the Great Sacandaga Lake, hiking, and going to concerts at SPAC. Starting a new adventure, she moved to Charlotte in July 2017 and brought her 15 years of retail experience to Inner Peaks. She is now enjoying indoor climbing and can’t wait to explore the mountains of North Carolina.
Director of Facilities
Cedric started climbing on plastic in the late 90s in a small dark gym in Dallas, Texas, but he didn’t get fully immersed until he moved to Utah. Now, 20 years later, he is able to bring his love and enthusiasm for the sport to Charlotte. Ask him your questions for he is not afraid!
Route Setting Manager
Nick grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and was introduced to climbing at a local gym where he got a job helping with parties and eventually tried his hand at setting. He then went to college at UGA in Athens, GA, and spent the next 6 years setting and coaching at the local gym. He’s passionate about outdoor climbing and has climbed over one hundred V10+ boulder problems across the country with ascents up to V13. He prefers pads to bolts, but when he does rope up, he climbs mid-5.13. He moved to Charlotte in 2017 to head the routesetting team and to take advantage of all the outdoor climbing North Carolina has to offer.
Marketing & Events Manager
Jordan was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC where she lived through high school. She attended UNCW for undergrad as a Psychology and Communication Studies major, and also spent a semester abroad in Australia before moving to Charlotte. She has climbed sporadically over the years but started climbing regularly as an Inner Peaks member in early 2013. In her spare time she enjoys climbing, traveling as much as possible, live music, reading, camping and being outside.
Hannah was born in Bull City (Durham, NC) and moved to Charlotte in 2014 for a photography internship. She has previous coaching experience with high school softball, swimming, and diving. Upon joining the Inner Peaks team in 2015, she has since expanded her coaching skills to include assistant team coach for Paragon, Head Coach of Elements and Discovery, and she is now a USA Climbing certified coach. When not at Inner Peaks, Hannah enjoys bouldering and climbing outdoors, hanging out with her dog, Grizzly, and loitering at eclectic locations throughout North Carolina.
